DESIGN
The client will dictate the extent of our contribution to the design process. Our approach can vary from simple implementation of your ideas and detailed requirements to the creation of a comprehensive lifestyle blueprint, which you are free to adopt or adjust as you wish. Below is a more in-depth explanation of this service:
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Each project starts with a no-charge initial meeting with the client at the property. The meeting involves a full laser survey along with photographs of the space, requirements/budget, initial suggestions and assessment of how much involvement is required. The meeting is followed up with a written proposal to the client.
CONCEPT DESIGN
In response to the client’s brief a concept scheme is created for discussion. This will be presented in the form of draft layouts or 3D drawings* showing space utilization, any structural modifications and furniture layouts. We will produce mood boards (if required) to demonstrate color schemes, wall and window treatments along with options for fabrics and finishes. At this stage we produce a draft cost plan, which includes provisional sums for any works along with outline program.
DETAILS DESIGN AND SPECIFICATION
Once all elements in the concept design are agreed with the client we move onto specification stage. Full specification includes proposed FF&E (fixtures, fittings & equipment) for each room as well as detailed structural CAD drawings, which include detailed plans, flooring and lighting layouts, elevations and relevant technical information.
MANAGEMENT
We will manage the project through from start to finish, organize the work/installation, liaise with contractors, suppliers, co-ordinate hand over including the resolution of any snagging issues and organize 30
days defects meeting.
